SEARCHING INSTRUCTIONS

Calvary's youth program is a congregationally-owned ministry. Within this framework, volunteers coordinate and carry out youth events that take place throughout the year. A youth team works together to provide visioning and support for the program, and all areas work with and through Calvary's Youth Ministry Coorinator, Dave Adams.

We have a variety of activities for youth of all ages to participate in:

Fellowship & Growth Events (all ages)

Bowling, movie parties, game events, lock-ins, ski trips, retreats

Servant Events (all ages)

Operation Christmas Child, nursing home visits, Lenten dinners, work at the mission and with other community organizations.

    MediaPray

MediaPray is for high school students (grades 9-12) and meets every Wednesday night from 8:15-10:00.  A student leadership team works together to lead discussions about spirituality, faith, and other issues that are important to them using a movie or sitcom series that is popular in their generation as the foundation.  It's an AWESOME event...and there's always FREE FOOD!

B & B (Breakfast and Bible Study)

B & B is for high school students (grades 9-12) and meets every Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m. at Dave and Kim Adams's house.  We gather as a community to take a deeper look into the Bible and enjoy breakfast before heading off to school.

Summer Trips

Each summer, Calvary youth have opportunities for events outside of Grand Forks. Trips include Bible camps (grades 3-12), mission trips (grades 6-12), and youth gatherings (grades 9-12). Fundraising throughout the school year assists each student with costs and prepares them for their trip by building community and teamwork.
