Who We Are
Calvary is a congregation of 3200 baptized members located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Being that size blesses us with the ability to offer a variety of classes, activities, and programs as well as 5 weekly worship services. While some newcomers occasionally wonder if those large numbers won’t be intimidating, we think that by becoming a participant in one of our worship services or other smaller gatherings you’ll find it to be true that “Calvary is a really big small church” where individuals matter and relationships are real and Jesus is very, very good! There is a place for you at Calvary!
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Eastern North Dakota Synod of the ELCA, through whom we are ministry partners in mission, outreach, evangelism, education, and service ministries throughout the region and across the globe.
