Care Team

Calvary’s Care team is a group of volunteers who visit Calvary’s shut-ins and nursing home residents on a monthly basis to develop holy friendships with those who can no longer attend church. Volunteers meet together quarterly for training sessions.  Widow/Widowers Group

This community wide group meets meets periodically to provide comforting  support and information to those who have lost loved ones.   For more information, please call Phyllis Norgard (701-775-7444)

Cancer Support Group

This community-based Christian group meets on the second Thursday of every month in the Calvary Holy Grounds Coffeehouse from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Cancer patients, families and caregivers are welcome. It is an informal time to share with others the struggles and triumphs of undergoing cancer treatment. For more information, contact Sarah Raymond.  Upcoming dates are March 14, April 11 and May 9.

Prayer Shawl Team

Prayers shawls are given to those who are struggling with life’s challenges. The shawls are prayed over while they are being made and they are prayed over by the Wednesday Morning Coffee group before they are given away. Knitting and Crocheting group

This group meets one Saturday morning per month to work on prayer shawls or their own projects, get patterns, ask questions or give ideas. Beginners welcome! Patient teacher and supplies available for knitting or crocheting. For more information, contact Sarah Raymond (701-772-4897). The next knitting and crocheting day will be Saturday, February 16 and Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. Everyone is invited to join us.

Mission Quilters

This group meets the last Tuesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The quilts make a difference worldwide in partnership with Lutheran World Relief. The group has a potluck lunch together on quilting days.  Leaders are Patty Berg, Ruth Larson and Shirley Kvidt.   Contact information is available through the Calvary office – 701-772-4897)

Wednesday Morning Coffee

 This group meets every Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. for coffee, fellowship and prayer. Attendees take turns bringing treats and the group is faithful in praying for those in need. New members are always welcome. Join us anytime!  For more information, contact Beth Lever (701-772-4897).
