Senior High
Senior high students have a variety of ways to stay connected at Calvary.
MediaPray
MediaPray meets on Wednesdays in our downstairs youth room. We watch movies and listen to popular music and discuss faith and social issues that are addressed in the film or music. We also enjoy fellowship and service events and there is always FREE FOOD!!! The youth room opens at 7:30 p.m., and we kick things off at 8:15 p.m., and are done by 9:45 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).
Summer Trips
Each summer, Calvary senior high students take a trip which they spend the school year planning for. For two summers, these trips are mission trips and then they attend the National Youth Gathering of the ELCA which is held once every three years. The team establishes itself early in the year so community and team work can be built.
In addition to these larger trip experiences, students have opportunities to take camping trips in the Northern Minnesota/Wisconsin wilderness areas. These trips give students a smaller, more intimate experience and allow for a week of close community living and spiritual reflection.
Retreats
During the school year, different trips and retreats are offered to allow for students to get away. Lake retreats, ski retreats, and retreats in the woods are occasionally offered for students to grow in community and faith.

If you have questions, contact Dave Adams at 772-4897.
Youth ministry at Calvary is congregationally-owned. This means that members of Calvary help to plan and carry out events, working with and through the congregation’s youth ministry coordinator, Dave Adams. Within this framework, people come together to create an environment that allows for ownership of the ministry and gives parents and other people a chance to share in what happens in the lives of Calvary’s young people.
