Calvary Fall 2011 Bible Read: The Prophets

Throughout the past 2 years, Calvary people have been reading through the Bible, two chapters a day. This Fall, explore the most mysterious, interesting, and thought-provoking portion of the Hebrew Bible: the Prophets. The lessons, sermons, metaphors, and emotions of these spokespeople for God offer words that have comforted, challenged, grieved, and graced God’s people throughout the centuries. “Oasis” sessions with Pastor Troy and Intern Pastor Sarah Raymond meet every other week at Calvary for Q&A, teaching, and discussion (Tuesdays, 1:30pm – Sept 20, Oct 4, 18, Nov 1, 15, 29, Dec 20). Lutheran Basics

This 6-week long class, team-taught by Pastor Roger and Pastor Kristen, is offered once or twice a year.  Whether you’re new to being  a Lutheran, have questions or are curious about Lutherans, or want a review of some things you maybe haven’t thought much about since you were confirmed as a Lutheran, you are welcome!  Interested in knowing when the next session is going to be offered?  Contact Pastor Kristen or Pastor Roger.
